Second Year Performance Scorecard

I wanted to provide you with an update on our 2021-22 financial year.

Smart Footprints is an independent IT Technical and Advisory Consultancy, based in Sydney that operates across Australia.

It has been another significant year, we've extended and activated partnerships, completed work for two university network transformations to enable them to procure market leading solutions. We've assisted with zero trust policy support. We've also worked hard behind the scenes to develop our products and services and provide support to our communities (IEC, Standards Australia, Australian Smart Communities Association).

Our Mission ensures year the education and research community and local government continue to have access to high quality independent and experienced consultants, architects and engineers at affordable prices so that you select and implement fit for purpose solutions for today and tomorrow at the best price.

Here are the highlights and our first year report card

Key points - more consulting days, more partnerships, more person-to-person meetings and more carbon emissions! But not to worry, as last year we will offset and on a good note we drove a lot less and travelled more by public transport.

Our carbon footprint grew by double last year to 40 tonnes of carbon tonnes. We recognise this was due to moving out of lockdown and being able to travel. Ironically a large proportion of this was from Internet use too. We are working on a special deal with a local Brazilian consortium to offset our carbon with local communities to protect and save part of the endangered tropical rainforest, more to follow!

Over the next two years, our goals are to

• Continue to serve education and research with truly independent technical network and cyber security services.

• Continue to invest in data analytics and automation for smart campuses and places.

• Assist local government and SMEs in adopting smart sustainable solutions ahead of regulation.
